What does “managed” actually include?
Everything below the application: provisioning, encrypted backups, security patching, Redmine version upgrades, uptime monitoring, and the servers themselves. You get a running Redmine workspace and never touch infrastructure.
Where is my data hosted, and which regions can I choose?
You choose US, EU or India, and your workspace runs in that region on infrastructure we operate. It stays there unless you ask us to move it.
What happens to my plugins?
Compatible third-party plugins can be installed and supported on request. During a migration we audit your plugin list and confirm what carries over before cutover.
Can I still get full admin access?
Yes. Every plan includes full Redmine admin access — trackers, workflows, custom fields, roles and plugin configuration. Managed hosting does not mean a locked-down Redmine.
How is this different from self-hosting?
Self-hosting means you own the server, the patching, the upgrades, the backups and the on-call. With managed hosting we own all of that; you own your projects. Your data stays portable — we provide your files and database on request if you ever want to self-host again.
