One page answering "what am I meant to be doing?" — open assignments, what you reported, what is due soon, how your workload spreads across projects, and how much time you have logged. Widgets are chosen and arranged by each person, and everything on it respects the same visibility rules as the rest of the workspace, so a dashboard never shows an issue its owner could not otherwise open.
On your own Redmine
Requirements
- Redmine 6.0 or newer (Rails 7.2, Ruby 3.1 or newer)
- PostgreSQL 14+, or MySQL 8.0+ / MariaDB 10.6+
- No additional gems
Install
cd /path/to/redmine
cp -r redminepro_mydashboard plugins/
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rake redmine:plugins:migrate NAME=redminepro_mydashboard
# restart Redmine
Standalone behaviour
Identical. No plan gate applies, and the My Dashboard module hides its own
checkbox from project settings whether or not anything else is installed — a
personal dashboard is not a per-project feature.
Update and remove
Copy the new directory over the old one, run the migrate command, restart. To remove:
RAILS_ENV=production bundle exec rake redmine:plugins:migrate NAME=redminepro_mydashboard VERSION=0
rm -rf plugins/redminepro_mydashboard
# restart Redmine
Saved layouts go. No issue, comment or time entry is touched — every widget was only ever a view over data that lives elsewhere.
Already on RedminePRO Cloud? It is installed and maintained for you: see the configuration guide.
